Dypsis forficifolia

Dypsis forficifolia

Another stunning small clumping dypsis, the stems of this species look like they have been painted and are very spectacular, it’s quite an easy species to grow but does take some time before it forms a lovely clump. This species grows well in the subtropics and would also make a great landscaping palm for indoor gardens or around water features it requires a shaded position in a frost free area and seems to handle most soil types but does best in well drained rich soils, watered 2 or 3 times a week with a nice thick mulch to help hold the moisture in the ground. This species will grow to just over 3m tall but takes over 12 to 15 years to attain this height.

We have a limited amount of these available now!!
