Dypsis linearis |
Dypsis linearis This species can have many different forms; it likes a protected shaded position with plenty of mulch to retain moisture around the roots, as a juvenile this species can hold entire leaves for quite some time and then will divide to it’s mature form once it’s in more light, or they can divide at an early age. As there are many localities in habitat for this species each locality seems to have a different form, this species grows very well in the subtropics most forms are solitary but they can also be clumping.
