Veitchia arecina this species can be found growing on the southern islands in Vanuatu side by side with Carpoxylon and Caryota ophiopellis, it’s seems to handle the cold very well and I would say it would be “one of ” the best in the genus, A great palm for any garden likes a well-mulched garden bed and should be planted in a prominent area to appreciate it’s true beauty!!
