Description:
-
This is the broader leaf form note small amount of seed this is a
very good set. Most times only 3 to 5 seeds on a flower spike. This species
is still quite rare but is well worth looking for. Very attractive Dypsis species there seems to be two forms in this species first has very fine entire bifid leaves and is a little harder to grow than the other species. Second species has much broader foliage still entire and new leaf can sometimes be pinkish has a red crownshaft and only takes 4 to 5 years to start to flower. Both forms clump and like a well-protected spot with regular watering also likes protection by other plants well shaded. |
